Louisiana's Many Food Traditions Unit Activity
Louisiana is blessed with a variety of cultures and traditions, including a fabulous food legacy. We've repackaged our Louisiana Voices Foodways Unit to make it easy for teachers to use and our Tryout Network of teachers around the state tested it last year. Their successes and suggestions for improvement are now integrated into the unit and we offer it to teachers around the state to try. We want to continue to improve the unit based on teachers' opinions, so we are offering $75 and 4 disposable cameras for this second tryout. Again you will be asked to fill out an evaluation and send sample products. Several of the cookbooks developed by last year's network are now a part of the Louisiana Collection at the State Library.
