For print photos be sure to label each photo by writing lightly on the back with a #2 pencil. It's best to use a numbering system that refers to this log and keep log with photos.
For digital photos, be sure to include in each file name enough information to identify the photo and refer to this log. Here is a sample file name: 20130516_crawfishboil_KAJ_1.jpg. This file name include: date_subject_photographer's initials_photonumber.
